Das hat hier sicher schon mal jemand gemacht.
Meiner Meinung nach ist das die sicherste und schnellste Methode, um
die DD-WRT Firmware aufzuspielen. Ausserdem haut da keine Firewall,
kein Internet, kein Antivirus, kein OS oder sonstwas dazwischen...

Leider finde ich nur das:

3 "Flashing" Your Router with DD-WRT Firmware

* 3.1 Method 1: Flashing with Web GUI
* 3.2 Method 2: Flashing with TFTP
* 3.3 Method 3: Flashing with Command Line

und das:

For serial users, add "-m xmodem" to the end of your load commands,
find the send file option in your terminal, select the right file, and it should to the rest.


Kann mir jemand sagen, wo etwas konkretes über serielles flashen zu
finden ist? Im DD-WRT Wiki und im Forum habe ich natürlich schon gesucht.
Leider bisher ohne Ergebnis...
Bin für jede Hilfe dankbar.

die Vorgehensweise ist doch die selbe wie über Redboot...
brauchst halt erstmal ein passendes serielles Kabel um auf die Konsole zu kommen

Das Interfacekabel RS232 auf CMOS 3,3V ist vorhanden und funktioniert offensichtlich.
Im Terminalprogramm erscheint die Eingabeaufforderung:

RedBoot>

So weit, so gut...
