1650 exec hangs

I tried a few times to flash the 1650, but everytime i get right to the end and type in exec, nothing happens. I end then with reset, power cycle and cant log into using the web. I can re telnet in and start from the beginning, but eveytime I get to that point, it doesnt ask me anything like the sticky says it should. Any way I can fix this?

Umm I did. I went thru the search and could not find anything helpful. I folllowed the directions included with the AP which has the exact same steps as the sticky. I was trying the stable build.
