hi
i would like to ask,
if there is a best canlength for the cantenna, or just the minimum 3/4 wavelength.

In theory, any even fraction or multiple of the wave length should resonate and thus be the best choice. But, more or less the longer your can/tube, the narrower your "beam". Which in a nut shell translates to longer range at the cost of being harder to aim. Of course, there is a point of diminishing returns. I wouldn't go past ~2 wavelengths. If you need more range than a standard cantenna, use a bi-quad and satdish. Just my bi-quad has as much range as any of my cantennas ever did, but with about a 90 deg. sweep. And with a dish, they can go for miles.
