Because the client bridge doesn't work on WR841N(D) I tried to get a solution with client mode and I'd the same problem with different subnets.

Here is shown a configuration with static routing:
https://secure.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=80374
it should solving the problem with different subnets.

I have problems anyway.. I had a connection between computers in different subnets, but my internet doesn't worked.. I still hope someday a release will support client bridge really..

=( unfortunately, my Belkin AP doesn't support static routing, can't find it anywhere in its setup webGUI. I guess I'll have to wait for a release that supports client bridge. Anyway, thanks for sharing the info, appreciate that.

Client bridge mode finally works with build 15693. Try it. And TL-WR841ND v7.x is supported now!

I've tried to get a client bridge between a WR841NDv5 (AP) and a second WR841NDv5 (Client Bridge) on build 15437 now.

But I've the same problem (as on build 14929) - in the menu there is in both routers the other one viewable but there is no network-connection (ping client bridge -> ap or ping ap -> client bridge are not possible, internet is also not accessible)

Anyone tried this configuration on WR841N(D)? It's frustrating..

the newest Cool what else Question Laughing

then search your router, correct hardware revision, take factory-to-ddwrt for a flash from factory firmware to dd-wrt, the other one for an dd-wrt update..

don't forget the hard-reset before and after flashing!

How did you get it working? It didn't work for me. Can you share with me what are the settings you configure when you switch from client to client bridge mode?
