WPN824N is a new common Netgear router that is the successor to their WPN824v3 router. Apart from wireless N connectivity, what sets these two apart is their wireless chipset and flash size.
This router is not in the Router Database or Supported Devices list, though I am under the impression it is fully capable of running DD-WRT. I am aware of other Netgear routers requiring a device-specific file to be flashed to it before DD-WRT may be flashed. If this is the only thing currently stopping it, what does it take to create/obtain such a file?
I am able to telnet into the router and obtain any other info needed, just let me know. If needed, I may even be willing to open it up for hardware access.
Unfortunately, I am not in a position that I could donate hardware myself.
I am, however, very experienced with electronics, being a computer engineer myself. If I could assist in doing whatever you need the hardware to perform, I am more than willing to help.

we need donated hw for the port
I know that this post is old, but I couldn't help but notice that I had one of these routers laying around. I would be more than happy to donate it to the cause if you still need one.
