Ever since flashing my Linksys e2000 Router the Orange Light stays on for the Wifi Protect Setup (WPS) button on the router. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve this? I'm concerned that this will stay on and allow people to connect using WPS to my router.

I flashed the router using this firmware -
dd-wrt.v24-14929_NEWD-2_K2.6_std_usb_ftp-e2000.bin

I followed the following forum exactly to upgrade the device - http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Linksys_E2000

Thanks

Thats fairly normal, means the unit has WAN connection, if you want to turn it other colors you can.

and no, they wont compromise your network from the button being amber lit up all the time.
