he guys

since we are already be able to limit the speed with our integrated radius server it would be interesting to know if u guys need quotas (= resticted volume per time period) to get even more control of your users.

this poll is related on professional units with integrated freeradius only (units with at least 16mb flash, eg IXP/x86 units)

this is no topic of "i need this and that, or everything u be able to think of....."

every useful comment on the poll question is welcome.

    done:
    -pptp/pppoe speed limits
    -get volume,uptime per user ~50%

    todo:
    -show used volume/uptime in gui
    -set volume/time limits in gui
    -email stats on demand
    -inform the user

I've been waiting since 2006 for this feature. WLAN security can be significantly strengthened by using 802.1X to control access point (AP) "port" access and deliver dynamic keys to authenticated users.

This would be an awesome feature, assuming it will work in bridge mode.

If it needs to be in router mode for this, an x86 build would be preferred at least by me.
