Hi !

Is there a way on only log a particular kind of transactions in /var/log/messages ?

I want to only log transactions to DST=192.168.1.100 on TCP Port 80.

Right now I have to turn the log settings to High, in the UI to get this, but this a lot more junk in the /var/log/messages.

Can I only turn on logging only for what I want ? From the CLI, script ?

Also, if I run a script from the CLI in the background using telnet, I cannot exit out of telnet , telnet just hangs on an exit. Why?

Thanks,
-cb
