hey guys,
my first post so please don't stone me alive.
I have a router branded as Planet WNRT-630, it is based on the RT2880F chipset so I was hoping I could load the dd-wrt on it as it's default firmware is useless.
You should be able to load dd-wrt on your router in the same way as for Edimax BR-6574, ie a tftp transfer of the image.tftp file. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!

Hey guys,
just wanted to report back, I managed to flash my Planet WNRT-630 via the tftp method as suggested in the previous post for Edimax routers and it seems to be working just fine. I'll do some transfer tests as the stock firmware was only giving me 4MB\s...
It´s describle like a RT3052 chip, but I open the router and didn´t see any word like Ralink or RT3052.
I read about flashing the firmware, but my doubts are:
1 - My router supports a dd-drt?
2 - How can I discovery with my router is really a Ralink 3052?
3 - Can I backup my original firmware to rollback if don´t get success with dd-wrt?
Thanks! It's unbricked. I flashed bk to ralink firmware 3.3.0.0.
Now, I am still seraching a version of dd-wrt with USB port working! I've tried your suggesion (asus-rtn13u version) but can't work. Lan port will keep on and off. If you get any idea for me, please advise me~

You may try to upgrade the "asus-to-ddwrt.trx", but I'm not sure if all router can be upgraded succeed.
I bought a Chinese router, PCB XDX RN502 V2.0. I confirm that this firmware (asus RT-N13U) works.
First it is needed to upgrade the firmware using asus-to-ddwrt.trx file.
Second, when the DD-wrt firmware is loaded upgrade again but using Asus-RTN13U-webflash.bin file.
