I'm on 14929 but i keep getting disconnected from the wifi whenever i turn on my tv box (from my ISP it broadcast tv from the dsl modem to my tv by wifi)
I tryed all the different channels and TX Power but nothing to do still the same thing.
Can't watch TV and be on internet at the same time...
Anyone had a similar issue and would know how to solve it ?
(I can't change anything on the tv box from my isp or dsl box either)
yes, i'm running build 16785 on 610nv1. but not your version, but dd-wrt.v24-16785_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin
wan connection is dhcp, and working. only caveat so far is software reboot, which is flaky. powering off/on always resolves the issue.
other point of concern is nvram usage. after storing as much sripts as possible on the usb storage and disabling all features i don't absolutely need, i've only 167 bytes left.... _________________ now running tomato by shibby

So you have the EKO bulid which works for you...
i was talking about BRAINSLAYERS 2 latest versions not working for me, wish someone else can confirm that this is not working on their wrt610n v1 too.
I might try the EKO bulid you have as i don't use the extra features in the BRAINSLAYER bulid.

Try disabling WMM in DD-WRT. Let us know if that fixes it. _________________ 1 x WRT310Nv2 (400/200/100)
3 x WRT320N (480/240/120)
1 x E4200 (532/266/133)
(All running the latest DD-WRT!)
tried dd-wrt.v24-16754_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin too for a few days with the same findings, but i am more of an EKO build adept. sorry BS ..
btw i am not sure whether a mega build isn't to big ( what's in a name ) for a 610nv1 _________________ now running tomato by shibby

BS and eko's builds are compiled on the same machine. They use the same base source code. This particular version is just slightly newer... that's all.

yep just put this one on & its running smoothly, i should have used k2.6 bulids a long time ago. Thanks wrt610 v1 running smoothly

OK, please pardon my noobness, but...I read the WRT610N wiki page, and it does seem a bit outdated. Version numbers are all pretty old, and the "first time flash" links are no longer correct. This thread seems to be a better place for current info.
So my question is, can the builds listed on this forum page be used for a first-time flash on a 610Nv1? I gotta ask, because of this line on the wiki page:
Quote:
If you are installing DD-WRT for the first time on your WRT610N, you need to use a hardware-specific build.
edit: This doesn't seem to be true anymore... information is in dispute.

Did you ever get an answer? Or did you just try it?
