EOC2610 WAN DHCP Fails

hi, I have searched the best I can and can't seem to find anything on this.

I have a EOC2611p with latest stable build of DD-WRT on it. When i configure it as an AP to my WIFI and have it sitting on my desk right next to the WIFI router with internet, it won'd pick up the DHCP. If i use static IP for the WAN, everything seems to work fine.

Is this by design with the EOC ?

ISP wifi modem --> EOC2611P wifi ---> LAN connected to linksys wrt54g with dd-wrt ---> wifi laptop client.

issue is between the modem and EOC i have to use static IP.


sorry if this is a simple question, I am some what new to dd-wrt.

I can confirm this bug in the EAP3660 as well... trac ticket filed still no update...
