First, my laptop uses WEP everyday so its not a problem there, I'm also testing with another laptop and an WAP11, the WAP11 is why I need WEP. I've been using DD-wrt for awhile, at home I have a WDS setup (WHRG54S/WRT54G) with v24/v23SP2 (respectively) running an additional virtual WLAN using WPA/WPA2 so I'm not a complete newb (if this is a simple fix I am) but I can't figure this out.

I've been trying for the life of me to get v24 to work at my cousin's house with WEP so I could have one Virtual WLAN on WEP and another on WPA2. Everytime it won't acquire a DHCP address, but I don't think its accepting any layer 3 traffic because manually setting an IP address doesn't allow access. I rolled back to v23SP2 and still can't get WEP to work. In both scenarios, WPA+ (or none) all work fine, in fact I"m typing this using the WRT54g in question over WP2-AES.
