I have tried to reset the device using the reset button. It will not respond to a browser request to 192.168.1.1.
I was experimenting and I noticed that the device would briefly respond to ping during power up and would then stop responding. This is best illustrated by the following ping rseponses :-
Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=18ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=4ms TTL=64
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 12, Received = 2, Lost = 10 (83% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 4ms, Maximum = 18ms, Average = 11ms
Notice 1 st ping fails, next 2 succeed, everything following fails.
Can anyone help me understand what is going on here and how to solve the problem
