i got one on my desk now. lets see what we can do
Is there any progress on this ? I guess we need to load bootloader first using it's web interface (use update firmware menu). But the problem with this technique is how to understand the standard firmware file format (.bin) so we can generate valid firmware file. Is there any information on the file format ?
The OEM firmware is VXWorks so I assume that the boot loader is neither U-Boot nor RedBoot but WindRivers own BSP boot loader.
The OEM file format has no similarities with the TP-Links WR router firmwares that are Linux and U-Boot based. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
1. we need a full flash backup via jtag
2. we must try to install microredboot via elf flashing methode (like dir300vA) and do a full docu on it. btw realtek phy -> kendin microredboot
3. we need a working ddwrt image...4mb ap51 clone build should boot 4 testing
i found a hack to get airos running ion this unit.
we know airos needs redboot running so they have to change the bootloader first. wen redboot runs we can installl ddwrt.
with the russian modified bootloader (which is a modified version of our microredboot and behaves like the original ubnt bootloader) i am able to boot the ddwrt ubnt NS build.
i have to find out how to flash it without their activation tool. _________________ Forum Guidelines...How to get help
