hey all, i'm a complete noob with regards to dd-wrt. I read the FAQs and support pages so I know that this router is capable of running dd-wrt.

I currently have one WRT320N connected to my comcast internet cable modem (i don't have the model # with me), and a second WRT320N that's still in the box.

I want to be able to bridge the two routers wirelessly so that I can improve my coverage to my basement setup where my HT stuff is. Signal quality in the basement is very poor right now connecting to the WRT320N. I have several devices in the basement (PS3, 360, Yamaha AVR, TV, Wii, AppleTV) most of which have wifi built in but with the poor signal quality i'd like to see if adding a bridge / repeater in the basement will help in this regard.

Other option would be to run ethernet to the basement but that would be quite invasive and i'd like to avoid that.

Question is - can my proposed setup work? Would I need to install dd-wrt on ONE or BOTH of the routers? Will dd-wrt even allow me to do this?

I'm sure that this question has been asked in a similar manner hundreds of times but i'd appreciate any feedback / suggestions.....
