Recently a WHR-HP-G54 router running an older version v24 stopped connecting to wireless nodes. I discovered that the nvram had filled up and the reported bytes left was negative. The router had been in place for several years and ttraff_enable=1. When installed, there was free space in nvram. After several years of operation, nvram overflowed.

After reseting the router and configuration, everything was fine.

Hence my question: Does DD-WRT firmware check available space for ttraff data? If nvram fills up, does it delete old data? More generally, does nvram commit check to see if there is available space before writing to nvram?
