iptables - wieviel Einträge verkraftet ein Linksys?

Hey,

ich würde gerne mehrere IPs in die Firewall eintragen.
Nur wieviel verkraftet ein Linksys (z.B. ein WRT54GL?)

Wenn der Torrent läuft, wird ja jede Verbindungs-IP mit der Tabelle verglichen.
Wenn mann dann z.B. 100 IPs in der Firewall hat, geht die Performance des Routers doch sicher runter, oder?

der bit torrent filter, analysiert packete und keine ip's er erkennt am hinhalt was es ist.

wieviele er verkraftet habe ich noch nicht getestet. aber 100 einträge sind trivial

Ich habe das mal bei unserer Fritzbox versucht.
Das Eintragen von 100 IPs hat ca. 45 Minuten gedauert (über ein Script) und die Box ist bei etwas Traffic zusammen gebrochen Smile)
Fritzbox = 150 MHz CPU mit 32 MB Speicher.

Ich habe dann mal eine größere Tabelle mal ausprobiert und ... nunja:
Nach 12 Stunden habe ich die Telnet-Verbindung dann abgebrochen *G*

naja die fritzboxen sind etwas herzschwach. die wrt's haben mehr power
