telnetd vs sshd in micro dd-wrt build

If I had a choice, ssh is far more useful in the micro distro than the insecure telnet, which I would hesitate to ever use. Running a wrt54gs v5 so I'm screwed out of dd-wrt distro choice. Anyone bring some sanity to this?

No space for ssh (Dropbear is the smallest, but still 180k)

Well would it fit if telnetd was deleted? That's a pretty thin slice of space to force sshd not be included.
