So urgent that you had to cross post in a thread for the B5 model?
Sorry, we don't handle urgencies and emergencies here. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
Okay lets explain for those who are reading the theard for first time
Im having DIR-600 B2 / 2.03 router which was upgraded to latest firmware, i getted some problems for leds, and dlink developered some new version, and my problem gets fixed. But when i tried now to flash dd-wrt says invalid image. After couple of time i found solution for other firmware.Read carefully.Response at your own risk.
2.Install via Emergency Room Web Interface (http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/D-Link_DIR-600_/_300vB#Alternate_Install_Method_using_Emergency_Room_Web_Interface) NOTE THIS : When its upgrading unplug the power cable and then plug it again.
3.Configure manually your ip address 192.168.0.2
subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
and access http://192.168.0.1
6.After upgrade to standard version, you can flash to dd-wrt without any problems (http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/D-Link_DIR-600_/_300vB#Installation_Instructions)

Enjoy!
I confirm that this fix works for me
I have Dir-600 H/W Ver. B2 F/W Ver. 2.02
Some time ago update it and got different number in web interface: Hardware Revision - Bx Firmware - 2.15
Was not able to install dd-wrt with this setup
But quoted fix helped me with that - dd-wrt is now installed and working
phew...this was a pain to downgrade from 2.17! at the end it worked, thanks to people here!
I tried latest from dec/14 and while it flashed OK I was unable to display home page of router than I got back to official firmware I guess, v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std
Which firmware are you all on? Any recommendations?
