Hello! I been trying to figure this out myself, but I have to give up.

I found alot of stuff about the gipo command, but I only managed to turn off the power-led, and not the Wifi, WAN and LAN leds.

gipo enable 1 turns off the power-led. Tried every gipo up to 50, didnt work.

And please dont say black tape Mad

except for a couple of new linksys routers (that I know of), the lan and wan led's are part of the switch and can not be controlled via gpio. The switch controls them.

The wireless led should be able to be found..

are you also "disable"ing the gpios?

I tried to disable from 1 to 10, didnt work. Is there any other possible way to control the other LEDs?

Nope.. I hunted up to gpio 50. The cfe says that the wl0 led is 7 but no cigar. Maybe the led is hard wired to the radio and cant be controlled via gpio.. dunno.. only a guess. You will not be able to control the lan / wan port lights.

The RT is white & silver.. Silver duct tape will work well across the front panel Razz

Unfortunately, scotch tape doesn't prevent the very bright blue LEDs to be seen from the top and at night to project this annoying glow.

And no, putting scotch tape on the top isn't a good idea as it would be blocking airflow and cooling

At the cost of your warranty, you might be able to open it and put something between the LEDs and the front panel.
