Ok I see where to port forward 1723 but HOW do I configure this to forward GRE (protocol 47) so that I can vpn into my 2003 server pptp that's behind the linksys? I'm running V23sp2.

Just enable PPTP Passthrough in Security -> VPN and that's it.

I believe that's for CLIENT connectivity, not to connect TO a server behind the router... Unless I'm mistaken?

Ok well I tried just forwarding 1723 and that seems to work fine, odd that on most firewalls I also need to enable GRE. Either way it works so I don't care!

Yes, but that PPTP passthrough enables GRE passthrough in both ways Smile
So if that's enabled, the only thing you have to do is forward port 1723 like you did.

Anyway, your setup like this is correct. (I've done that too btw)
