Hi everyone,
I'm using v24 preSP2 build 15778 as suggested for my tp-link in object.
I'm experiencing this problem: if router reboot for any reason (no power or something else) it looses all configurations i made.
I'm not able to restore settings from backup too.

Can someone plz explain to me why? Where i'm wrong?

Tnx

I am experiencing exactly the same issue as well. I have been searching around looking for a solution but I can't seem to find any solution. More importantly, I have been trying to revert it back to the original firmware but unable to do so using the DD-WRT web GUI. Could some experts please provide either a solution to making this work on the WR941ND or instruction as to how to revert it back to the original firmware?

Sorry if this has been covered but I have spent several hours just looking for a clear instruction to revert it back to the original firmware.

Exact the same problem here.
Clearing Firefox cache did not worked, but switching to another browser - did the job. I'm using Chrome and it works.

I am actually trying to figure out how to flash/revert the firmware back to OEM right now. I have tried uploading the bin file on dd-wrt web GUI but upon upgrading/flashing, I am still stuck with the dd-wrt firmware. Did I actually brick my router?
I did follow the instructions and did the 30/30/30 reset and such but still no luck.

me too trying, no luck.
With telnet console received error: "bad trx header".
Even too with files provide for revert on sticky message.

Some experts' advice ?

There will never be any change until:

a) there is a dd-wrt build that can handle the Intel S33 flash chip, ie write to it.

b) you have got rid of the old build from the router. Since the old build can't write flash then it can never update the router to a bug-fixed build.

You can only fix your router with a serial console connetion, using the serial console to initiate a tftp transfer of a bug-fixed dd-wrt firmware.
There is afaik no bug-fixed dd-wrt firmware yet.
