Hello, I have a WRT54G v6 with the micro DD-WRT installed (latest). Before using the router i used my ADSL modem as a router as well (it had that feature). But now my downloads on Bittorrent (azureus) do not surpass 32-35 kBps, beeng that I got 50-60kBps easily in the past, with the same kind of files (512kbps ADSL connection). I have raised the connections limit to 4096 and lowered TCP and UDP timeouts. And http has become extremely slow when bittorent is running, this did not use to happen either. So I set http to Premium and bittorrent to Bulk....to no avail. Naturally i have forwarded the necessary ports for bittorrent to function ok.
Any ideas here on something that i might be missing would be very welcome, especially about the p2P speed thing
Thanks, indeed my modest v6 router doesn't even come close to supporting 4096 open ports, I have set it at 1024....hope it can handle that. But the main issue was that i had set TCP&UDP timeouts to around 1000 sec, too high. Set timeouts @ 120s now to see what happens
