I am trying to compile dd-wrt myself, I am using a buffalo whr-hp-300gn, I use the config file comes with the svn checkout, it has mimo enabled. But when I compile libutils the compiled trying to find madwifi.dev and madwifi_mimo and failed. Where can I get those source code, it does not seem to have the same structure as the madwifi snapshot from their website, since in wl_11n.c it want madwifi_mimo/core/XXX, which does not exist in the snapshot.
Thanks for the timely reply, just want to be sure, does this mean I will not get the full function set of whr-hp-g300n if I compile dd-wrt myself instead of using the official build?
Just in case someone is interested, it seems in latest firmware (preSP2 build r18024) actually using ath9k. I downloaded the latest compat-wireless and enabled ath9k. Then the compilation was stopped by some weired error in httpd, some variables used by ath9k code is defined only when madwifi is enabled. But enable madwifi causes make to look for the non-existing madwifi.dev. So it seems there is no way to compile a customized firmware without some real changes to the code from the svn.
