[Solved]Dir-600 Client Mode

Neither repeater mode nor repeater-bridge mode works for my dir-600. My last resort is to try client mode though it is in vain as well.

Then, I try to telnet dd-wrt. The first thing I discover is that ra0 could not connect to the SSID specified. So I issue the following command:

root@DD-WRT:~#iwconfig ra0 essid MY-ROUTER-SSID
root@DD-WRT:!#ping yahoo.com
PING yahoo.com from 209.191.93.53: seq=0 ttl=51 time=219.727ms

Bingo it works. But I still could not route the wifi signal to the eth2.

Any suggestions.

Client Mode in Dir-600 is now working properly. The only thing that needs to pay attention is that
under WAN Connection Type, static ip must be selected. For the rest, refer to the attached screenshot.

Anyhow, repeater mode and repeater bridge mode are still NOT working.

Hi, in repetear mode it works partially. It is a client mode. Sorry my english, i`m Argentine.
My config is:

AP HUAWEI
192.168.1.1
DHCP ENABLED
WIRELESS CHANNEL 10. WPA2 B+G MIXED.

D-LINK DIR-600 with DD-WRT build 13064
IP: 192.168.1.2
SUB: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.1.1
LOCAL DNS: 192.168.1.1
WIRELESS MODE REPETEAR-BRIDGE
WPA2 B+G MIXED channel 10
DHCP not found in this mode
WAN not found in this mode

Here ok, It works for cable, but when create virtual interface ra1 for repetear, ra0 lost connection with AP. Evalue removing security wireless, firewall, rounting, etc etc, and no way. Logically the repetear mode does not work either.
We will continue trying. Regards

I also have a dir600b1, I can not use the wep on the client mode, but I can successfully connect the AP without encryption, someone have the same situation?

Upgrade first.Since build 16214 wep is working well.Otherwise run this iwconfig ra0 key xxxxxxxxx for the client mode.

How can I download this build 16214 FW? When I type "dir-600" in Router Database i can olny get build 14896?

Has anyone tried connecting using WPA? It does not seem to work for me.
