Internet location is resolving to wrong city/country

Hi. Im not even sure how to ask this question...but what I've noticed is that web clients / devices think I'm in Moscow even though I'm not (I live in Canada). For example: when I connect to google plus on my mobile on wifi and and look at the "NearBy" stream, it (sometimes) shows posts from Moscow. I also see this in other web clients that attempt to get location.

Im running with firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) mega

Does anyone have any idea about this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is your time zone set correctly on router?
