WZR-HP-G300NH is an Atheros based router, go read the thread in the dd-wrt Atheros subforum.
There is plenty of information in it on how to revert to factory firmware. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!

I have a Japanese WZR-HP-G302H that I would like to install DD-WRT on. Has anyone had success with this model? Or can recommend a build to try. I can see this model referenced in the file Makefile.pb42 several times between lines 586 and 599, but I'm not sure if any of the recommended builds for the G300H models would be suitable.
Just got a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH to replace a Belkin N750DB until DD-WRT becomes available for it.
I checked out the stock Pro firmware as well as the Easy firmware.. The list that comes with the router shows the Pro missing some features, but I'll tell you the UI for the easy is ugly!
Anyhow, I tried to download the DD-WRT firmware for the unit, and flash following these directions:
"As of Feb 2010, the WZR-HP-G300NH can be flashed with DD-WRT directly from the Buffalo web GUI. To do this, go to http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database, look up Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH, and download the firmware file you need (just one file).
The buffalo to ddwrt webflash file is a full build. It's for flashing from the original Buffalo firmware to DD-WRT.
The webupgrade file is to upgrade from an older version of DD-WRT. Use this to upgrade from an old version of DD-WRT."
It failed. At least with the Easy firmware installed. It said it was invalid firmware and rebooted the router. I haven't tried with the Professional firmware installed yet, but I'm wondering if you can only flash that with the Professional installed or if there's something else going on.
The Pro firmware shows as "Firmware: DD-WRT v24SP2-MULTI (10/31/11) std"
The firmware file for Easy is named:
UserFriendly_1.80_1.16.enc dated 10/30/2011
The Professional firmware is:
Professional17798.enc dated 10/19/2011

Same issue as above. Recently bought Japanese Buffalo WHR-300HP (Ver.1.85, R2.06/B1.00) will not accept buffalo-to-dd-wrt_webflash-MULTI.bin, and will reboot without flashing.
Any links to the right bin to use in order to bypass the country check will be greatly appreciated!
