Bumping, but in english.
I attempted to install tcpdump on my WRT54GL v1.1 by using the openwrt cross-compiler via these instructions. The router currently has DD-WRT v24-sp2 installed.
The file at least appears to be of the right type:
Code: |
$ file tcpdump
tcpdump: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, MIPS, MIPS32 version 1, statically linked, with unknown capability 0xf41 = 0x756e6700, with unknown capability 0x70100 = 0x3040000, not stripped |
Perhaps openwrt-compiled binaries work on Tomato firmware and not dd-wrt? Or maybe it's a partition space issue...as tcpdump leaves me with about 56KB to spare. I'm thinking of installing openwrt to see if I can get it working there. |
