Hello,
This is a Ralink 3052 based device and is quite popular on Southeast Asia region.
Basically it is a N Wireless router with integrated USB port + 3G dialer built into its firmware.
The problem is, the stock firmware is simply awful, or should I say horrible.
I'm using the lates and greatest available Firmware on Prolink website and that doesn't help.
Changing SSID name requires 70s reboot, if you know what I mean.
Full specification available on OpenWRT Database:

There is a clue in the OpenWRT wiki that it is also sold as Abocom WR5205 and Abocom is actually the original mfgr of the router, WR5205U is the correct model number.
It can probably run a slightly modified dd-wrt build for Asus RT-N13U B1 which currently is the only dd-wrt build for RaLink RT3052 with 8MB Flash and USB, but don't try the RT-N13U B1 build unless you know exactly what you are doing.
A serial console connection to the routers pcb serial port is a must when experimenting. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
