Swap on TP-Link 1043 and latest firm (18740)

Hi,

In order to use Transmission (2.50) on my TP-LInk 1043ND I need to add swap on it.

Following all the steps (dd, mkswap and swapon) the message I obtain is this:

swapon: /mnt/swap.file: Function not implemented


Is there any feature on the kernel needed to use a swap file??

It's impossible to use Transmission without "Out of memory" failures...

TP-Link TL-WR1043ND
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/08/12) std - build 19342

root@DD-WRT:~# mkswap /dev/sda5
Setting up swapspace version 1, size = 1052220 KiB
no label, UUID=0b9824ed-91be-4b22-b22f-f5f33b24f90c
root@DD-WRT:~# swapon /dev/sda5
swapon: /dev/sda5: swapon failed: Function not implemented

I have same problem with r18777 fw.
Any ideas?
