Hi !
Got a problem with my DIR-620.
I have several WI-FI clients connected to it, three PCs using 802.11g standard and two older devices using 802.11b standard (old laptop & PDA).
When I try to access the Internet from those old devices, everything seems to be OK and connection speed (with router) is 11 Mbps, as it should be.
But when I try to transmit any kind of data (files mostly) from one computer to another (all connected to WLAN), connection speed decreases dramatically, to 1 Mbps. VERY sloooow...
It happens EVERY time when I try to transmit something.
"WI-FI Auto-fallback" feature in DD-WRT seems to be responsible for this.
Is there any way to disable "WI-FI Auto-fallback" ?
P.S. I've tried to set up fixed rate on the router - no go...
WI-FI card's drivers on PDA and old laptop doesn't have the option to connect at fixed rate.
