Hi, i just upgraded mi firmware to DIR-615 E4 DD-WRT v24 preSP2 Build: 15778. Everything seems to work ok, but the WiFi led on the router keeps turned off, but i can connect and use WiFi.
I've noticed the same problem (same E4 version DIR-615, also DDWRT build 15778), but additionally, the LAN (hard wired connection) indicator lights will also stop blinking or stop lighting all together if the wire's connected and I reboot the router. It worked initially when I plugged the wire in. Not sure what gives. Hope it'll be fixed in some future release?
Wondering if trying the latest nightly builds will help solve the problem?

I've found the same problem with the wireless light (I'm on 16994 build).
And I also followed the E3 instructions and used the hex editor and got the firmware uploaded that way. The emergency room method wouldn't work for me. I got into the emergency room, selected the file, but then it just sat there (can't remember any more details sorry). But yeah, the hex editor method was the way to go.
Anyway, has anyone tried the latest build (17201) on the E4? I saw in the time line http://svn.dd-wrt.com:8000/timeline that there was some reference to wireless led, but not sure if that relates to the E4 or not... _________________ DIR-615 - E4

Nope, I was wrong. 17201 hasn't fixed the wireless LED. But the CPU load is working in Status/Router. Well, until now the load had always been 0.0, so either my router didn't have to work hard, or the load wasn't working... _________________ DIR-615 - E4
