I have replaced the stock firmware of TP-LINK WR740N with DD-WRT build 18777. The update went well and the setup as Client Bridged (Routed) was done like described here on the DD-WRT site.
The connection works well and it is stable if I have a wired client connected to the client router but there are problems with the wireless clients that are connected to the same router. The internet connection is lost after 2-3 minutes (the connection of the main router is still up and running). I should mention that the connection to the client router from the wireless client and the connection from the main router to the client router work well and do not drop in time.
The only problem is this one with the wireless client that looses the internet connection. There is any known bug related to this? Or any workaround?
I have spent almost the entire day experimenting with different settings but there is no change.
Any hints related to this are appreciated.
Main router: Linksys WRT160NL
Client router: TP-LINK WR740N
Wireless client: Android Phone (no problems what so ever when connecting at the main router - the problems appear only when connected to the client router after 2-3 minutes).
