About the PCB ENG2611,

I want to solder directly a RPSMA onto the PCB.

So that I can bypass the External switch (since it doesnt work on Rev. 1.3.1)

-> http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/EOC-2610

On the PCB there is a TX and RX connector.

My question:
How to solder the wires ?

the switch doesnt work?
is it a gpio driver switch?
then get us the correct gpio settings.

Problems with Eng2611 hardware ver. 1.3.1

Seems like stated as in the top Wiki link that the switch is not working. Tested thoroughly.

In the link is mentioned that a external antenna can be soldered to the pcb.

Soldered as following, using the cable what was soldered to the pcb-switch internal.

signal to the TX internal
shield to a grounded point

Still no difference though. I can be that the AP had already a damaged radio.

My question about this solder solution: did i overlooked something ?

It's a little tricky for beginners. Better ask someone from your area to help you out.
