I'm a bit confused as there seems to be some places that says to use 13064 and some that say other revisions, such as the post entitled "Firmware Recommendations - Still 14929 - 04/18/12"

So I am very confused as to which I should get? Right now my router is using, as one post said, "the buggy version 13064."

On the database, the highest revision number is 14896. Can anyone help allieviate my confusion please and tell me what version to upgrade/downgrade to?

Reason I'm upgrading is do to a problem with assigning static leased DHCP IP addresses.

When upgrading from my current version to the version you are recommending, are there any extra steps that I need to do?

I know when I first flashed it a 2-3 years ago, I had to do the mini one first, then the standard. All the directions I've read doesn't seem to state so, or I'm just not seeing it.

What I gather, my steps are
1) Hard Reset (30/30/30)
2) Set it to reset to default after flashing
3) Upload the dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin
4) wait 5 minutes after flashing has finished
5) Repeat step 1
6) try to log into router

Is there a step I may be missing?

Also, in step 6, I changed my IP address of the router, but once I do all the above steps it'll reset back to 192.168.1.1?

The steps I did above worked. All is going well now and my problem that caused me to want to upgrade has been solved as well.

Hey TN, did you do any additional step in your upgrade? I also have 13064 and need to upgrade.
