Hallo,

ich hab ein Problem mit der Firewall. Die ist zwar eingeschaltet, aber ich habe nur Ident als Häkchen angeharkt. Ich habe jetzt eine Telefonanlage die über Port 25 Mails rausschicken will über ein Mailgateway. Schalte ich die Firewall aus gehts. Schalt ich sie an gehts nicht. Was mich dabei verwundert mit Outlook kann ich über das Mailgateway Mails versenden. Hab jetzt schon bisschen über Iptables versucht den Port freizugeben ohne Erfolg.

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 25 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp --sport 25 -j ACCEPT

Was mach ich falsch?

beides unrelevant. forward waere die richtige chain!
aber das sit bestimmt kein iptables problem.
