No DHCP between with this release

If AP1(DHCP SERVER) is conected via WIFI to AP2 I get DHCP IP but if AP3 is conected to AP2 VIA WIFI the pc dont get DHCP from AP1, I cant even ping AP2 from AP3.

Any IDEA!!!?

Hi,

I have a TL-WR 1043ND with DD-WRT v24-sp2 SVN revision 17201, quite old it seems. Today I've saw that there is a very new build from some days ago. Now I have some questions:

- Where I can find the changelog?

- Is this version stable?
(have some problems with 17201, sometimes the WAN bandwith drops down by 30%, after a reboot it's fine again, but for 3-4 days only)

- Can I use the web update function to upgrad to 06-08-12-r19342?

Thanks for help and answers.

- i think you can see changes only here: http://svn.dd-wrt.com/timeline
- there's no stable build, but mine is working fine (no extra services, just usb with some optware).. try it, you will see..
- yep, flash it with tl-wr1043nd-webflash.bin (if u got already ddwrt)

Please can SNMP be included in the build for WNDR3700 V1

It was in the version R16785 which was 6.86MB

R19342 is 6.17 so there should be plenty of space?

thanks,

Adrian.

I don't recommend that a saved nvram backup is applied to a build that is different on the one that created it, either newer or older. If the build is same, OK, but if not, then configure manually.

upgraded my w1043 tplink (18777) to this release. (19342)
Had to initiate webflash twice to complete.

It running now.

After 55 minutes up time:

wireless:
Received (RX) 99% 103574 OK, 883 errors
Transmitted (TX) 100% 146718 OK, no error

Same error receive rate as with my previous 18777 build.

Didn't clear my nvram or reset or 30/30/30.
WAN( internet), LAN, WLAN working.

Can't find any difference, will test wlan further for speed. (Speed before and now was 300mbit NG mixed)

I said I wasn’t going to upgrade on last post a few weeks ago but since build had fairly good results thus far I upgraded from 16785. Normally I do recommended 30/30/30 but too many rules and settings to recreate so updated from 16785. Just like the post above I had to flash it twice and power off to complete. On first flash it was still reporting it was at build 16785 and didn’t report up-time.

Also in build 16785 mine only reported 260 now it is reporting 300mbit NG mixed. So far so good, I’m going to test the wifi with some random torrents and see what it could do. Will report back later

Has anyone from Israel, Russia or Ukraine connected to ISP as an L2TP client successfully?
The L2TP client seems to be broken, tested on this and previous builds on TL-WR1043ND.
Currently running build 18777, which connects to L2TP with no problem.

Tried 06-08-12-r19342 for Dlink DIR-601a1.
I found that the extension channel options are fixed (ie. ch 11 only shows 'lower' in the dropdown now).

But one of my wired ports did not seem to be bridged to the other clients anymore. Possible bug? I'm not sure. I reverted back to 03-19-12-r18777 and everything was working again as expected.

My WRT160NL is now identified in Network as Buffalo WHR-HP-G300N with this build !

Doesn't seems to cause any issues though

I've upgraded my Netgear WNDR3700v2 from 18777 to 19342 by a simple Web Firmware Upgrade. Nothing more done. Everything works just like before. No wireless packet errors.
