hi
i have a router 192.168.1.1 D-link without Dhcp server , all users must put an ip in his device manually
and i have an access point Netgare Wg602 v4 with DD-wrt v24-sp1 micro
i want to make it as Ap , i gave it an ip ( 192.168.1.161 ) and i follow the steps but there is a problem , when i enable dhcp on it users on LAN can have an ip from it and their gateway will be 192.168.161
and when i disable the dhcp , i can't use my android phone cuz i can't give it an ip manually
so my problem that i want to make this as Ap
and enable dhcp only for wireless devices and no one from LAN can take an ip
secondary router is hard wired though with a static ip address. dhcp is turned off so it gets ip addresses from primary router. wireless ssid and security is the same on both routers but with different channels so i can roam with my devices and seamless connect from one AP to the next.
