Builds other the supported builds below will NOT work!!!!
This is because FPU emulator has been removed from DD-WRT Kernel.
This is a required feature to have optware working.
If the install script shows you are using a not supported build load one from the list of supported builds.
Supported Build from:
*Kong K2.6
*Kong AC builds are NOT supported
*Fractal 14929-20006
*BS 14929-19519
Installation scripts: (REBOOT after installation or upgrade!!)
Code:
# Install script
wget -O /tmp/prep_optware http://dd-ware.googlecode.com/svn/otrw2/prep_optware
sh /tmp/prep_optware

you did a nice job integrating everything.. Back in the day, once I got otrw running (needed Fraters help with asiablock), I spent hours getting mypage & bwmon running as an add-on. Especially bwmon.
Installing your script(s) was just running the prep script, and everything just worked

Yes, and if you are using a k2.4 newd build, i don't suggest 18024, as i stated in the test thread, it doesn't automount the correct partition. I tested it on 14929 newd usb generic and it worked fine, as i type now i am trying it on 15943 - with a freshly partitioned 2gig usb thumb drive, which so far, looks to be installing just fine.
I am not sure which k2.4 newd builds are affected by the automount problem, and looking in trac didn't really provide much help, as i see that a ticket was filed by redhawk concerning the automount problem around 17348 - 17364 (even using the same unit i am using - wl-520gu), but it was closed as 'fixed' and being that 18024 is past 17xxx, i don't really consider that as 'fixed', i am however going to do more reading on trac to see what changes happened in between the builds that could have possibly caused the problem. _________________ Wireless N Config | Linking Routers | DD-WRT Wiki | DD-WRT Builds | Peacock - Broadcom FAQ

Yes, it works on both k2.4 and k2.6.
basmaf - curious question, which i won't be able to answer till tonight because i had to end my testing during the day, i did a re-install on my wl-520gu using 15943 mini-usb last night, install seemed to go fine, but now, mypage is not in the status anymore, do i need to set the flags on mypage to executable?
Script handles file permission and executable flags and nvram mypage_scripts
They are set every time mypage starts.
Mypage will not start after the prep script is ran.
It needs a reboot or a manual start.
A manual can give missing file related errors, due to bwmon.
Can't double check that right now someone is installing right now...
Something i have to get used to before i reboot
When mypage doesn't show up in status tab, nvram value is not set.

Gotcha, i didn't figure i had to set anything, as on 14929 newd usb generic, i didn't have to, it just worked right after install/reboot. But even after install script ran (which ran fine, no errors), and i rebooted, it didn't show up, the services are there though, when i ssh into the shell and type 'service' it lists mypage in the green. I will test again tonight to see if i can figure out whats going on with it. _________________ Wireless N Config | Linking Routers | DD-WRT Wiki | DD-WRT Builds | Peacock - Broadcom FAQ
