Hi all,

I was building an X86 router using a CybertronPC, which has a SuperMicro motherboard PDSBM-LN2+. This motherboard has 2 ethernet ports. I thought that this was an ideal router as it is a 1U rack mountable device. I installed a CF with dd-wrt_full_smp_vga.image, dated 2010/08/09, in it booted to where it says to enter activation key. I cannot go any further into the router. I don't get to the command prompt, so I am unable to determine if the ethernet ports are supported/working. I connected a netbook to each port and am still not able to connect to the router. I don't get an IP address. Do I have to input the activation key before the ethernet ports start to work? I though that maybe I should have been able to use the web interface to do the activation. Pls advise.

I am unable to get into the router. I don't get an IP address from the DHCP server. will try setting a static IP on my netbook.

Isn't the 2010/08/09 version the latest for X86?

I configured my netbook with a static IP address within the network address range of router but was still unable to connect to router. Will try to add a third NIC to see if I will be able to access router. I will not active system with third NIC installed.

Like they always say "Two heads are better than one." I never thought about that. Will test that way and advise. Thanks.

It seems that the NICS are not supported. Here is the output of lspci -v. I got this by adding a third NIC.

I am using the latest public build i saw on the download site. It is dated 2010/08/09. Is there somewhere else I can look. I really need to get this working.

I had bought an activation. How long do I have to retrieve it?
