I followed the guide exactly and all I do after doing a 30/30/30 reset is Add the Virtual Interface and it refuses to show up, only dd-wrt will show up but not dd-wrt_vap. It will not connect even if I manually attempt to connect.
P.S. MAC addresses are left off on purpose.

Just curious, although it doesn't show up as a broadcast, can you still connect to it by just inputting the SSID manually?
I'm just wondering if it's strictly a broadcast issue as opposed to not actually running.
From that tutorial:

Note: If you're using a Broadcom VINT build then some devices may have problems connecting. Often it is just that they will only display one SSID being broadcast but they will still be able to connect if you manually create a profile for the virtual interface's SSID. Two of my old 802.11g adapters can not see the VAP's SSID but can still connect with manual profiles while my 802.11n adapter can see both SSID's being broadcast.
When you started this project, did you do a 30-30-30 reset? I've seen my share of odd behaviors when ppl attempted to make major configuration changes to an already modified router. It's best to start w/ a clean slate.
