Thank You Sash, i have eyes, so i searched before post, but i found in another pages, the MR3220 is based on ar71xx, Atheros AR7241 platform, 400Mhz, 4Mb, flash 32 Ram, Atheros AR9285 (onboard) wireles NIC what is very similar with d-link dir600, TL-WA701nd, and TL-wa901nd.

Don't look in "another pages", look here:

Test file of r19342 while waiting for Brainslayers official support.

Use MR3420 files for updates until the router gets its own build.

Use MR3220v1 revert files from the sticky Revert Files thread if you want to revert to stock firmware.

Does the above test build do everything except the USB support?

It has USB support for 3G modems like the MR3420 which this build is based on.

Cheers.

So it's basically a beta build with all functionality, or is there more to be added.

I'll maybe give it a go ....

** EDIT **

Just reading the pre-install checks and noticed I have a version 1.2 router and that the support page only lists version 1.

I guess I'll have to wait and hope 1.2 gets support soon .....

1.0, 1.1, 1.2, it is all the same.
TP-Link does only provide update files for v1, they don't make any different ones for the minor version number.

I've put the above firmware on and that went fine.

Using the following links, I have set the router up as switch with wireless enabled, connected to my primary router via an ethernet cable.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Switch
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Access_Point

I can connect wirelessly to my "new" dd-wrt device and that works fine with my laptop getting an ip address (from the primary router) and I can get on the internet.

However, when I connect my laptop to the "new" dd-wrt device, I do not get an ip address and can't get on the net. Also, when I connect a device with a static ip via cable, it can't get on the internet either.

Don't know what's wrong? DHCP is disabled on the secondary TP-Link device.

I've also tried assigning a fixed ip to my laptop, but that didn't work.

Any help appreciated. I'm lost with this and have done hard resets and tried it a couple of times.

build r19342 suffers from a lan port isolation bug, the lan ports can not see each other.
It has been corrected but there has yet not been any builds released after the fix.

According to the following DD-WRT FAQ, routers with 4MB or less flash do not have enough room for 3G support:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/3G_/_3.5G#Supported_Plattforms

Is this true? Both the MR-3220 AND MR-3420 have 4MB flash, which would sort of defeat the purpose of using these routers

Hi

I saw my MR3220 in DDWRT supported list
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices#TP-Link

However I couldn't find above model in
http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database

May I know why ?
