is it possible to switch off wlan with wps-button?

If that's the button on the side, i think it's not working. Wireless (2.4 GHz only, because i switched off 5 GHz on webmenu) remains on no matter how long i press the button.

Anyone had a look at 19342 yet? Any good?

Hi!

Got a new dir-825-revb2 these days and put the 17201 on it. After having found out about changeset 18810 i risked upgrading to 19342.
Wireless still working! Very Happy

I switched off ath1 though, because i don't need it at the moment and it's only working at 13 dBm. In my apartment i can connect with my SGSII to ath1 but only at a distance roughly up to 5 meters. With ath0 i have connection everywhere.

ath0 reports:
Radio Radio is On
Mode AP
Network NG-Mixed
SSID ****
Channel 8 (2447 MHz)
TX Power 19 dBm
Rate 300 Mb/s

Is it possible to boost the ath0 TX power a little bit? Because even in my small apartment i have troubles getting a stable connection with my SGSII (android 4.0.3).
BUT, with my previous router it was even worse.

Now i've got to read a lot of documentation because i'm completely new to DD-WRT.

There could be other things causing the problem. The density of access points in an apartment complex is normally pretty high. You should try inSSIDer (http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/) or something like it if you've not done something to look at the channel usage already.

Has anyone gotten the usb to work? I have it enabled and a printer plugged into it but have no clue how to access it.

Firmware: dd-wrt v24-sp2(06/08/12)std-build 19342
D-Link Dir-825B1

Printer on USB Port does nothing. USB Light on front of router is out. Has not come back on since the dd-wrt flash. Emergency Flash screen will no longer come up using the reset button 10/10/10 or 30/30/30. Refuses to flash back to stock firmware.
Am happy with dd-wrt if can get USB port to work with my printer again???
Thank you,
IMHO

The first thing that happened when I flashed to dd-wrt was i lost my boot loader screen. I then tried everything posted eveywhere to try to flash back to stock firmware with no luck. Also lost the USB port. Something evidently went wrong when I flashed it to dd-wrt newest version. DD-wrt comes up with its settings & everything, but cannot live without the USB support. Looks like it was just a bad flash & looks like a JTag flash is the only thing left to put it back to stock firmware with working Boot Loader Screen & working USB port for this one. Hope you had better luck than I did.

Has anyone (in addition to bbun1508) updated DIR-825 rev B2 to latest 19342? Is it working fine?

I've been having minor WLAN problems with r17201. I've been trying to create virtual WLAN using this wiki: Multiple WLANs. When I connect to virtual WLAN, clients in physical interface start getting disconnected... I'm hoping that r19342 could solve this...

Very Nice, any settings in particular giving you such nice speed? and by the way at max performance Surprised you will only get up to 90% of advertised speeds, so right now you are doing better than that!
