Any update on USB (3G and/or mass storage) support?
Brainslayer added MR3420 for official support today so I think there will be a test build here in a day or two. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
same here..any updates guys regarding USB/3G support specially TL-MR3220..
MR3220 is in the pipeline for dd-wrt support, I will do a similar patch of a WR741 build (without USB) in a few days time and put it in a MR3220 thread. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
Waiting for MR3220 !
I'm using OpenWRT on the MR-3220, but do not know how to do QoS.
In the dd-wrt is easier!
Can I put the firmware of BS 3420 in 3220? _________________
I have flashed successful WR841NDv7.2 to mr3420[DD-WRT -> 3420Webrevert(no need to modify it, lol) -> DD-Wrt]
I havent done USB mod yet,but it should work.

Probably its not good idea. _________________ TP-Link WR841Nv7.2/WR1043ND v1.8/WDR3600v1.2

This is a correction on sysupgrade 3849
The file you download is 3849
3. Using telnet 192.168.1.1:
Code:
cd /tmp/
wget http://www.dd-wrt.com/routerdb/de/download/TP-Link/WR841ND/7.0/factory-to-ddwrt.bin/3849
sysupgrade 3849
4. Success! Now we configure dd-wrt through webGUI
/B

Running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/21/10) std (SVN revision 15778) on your TP-LINK MR3420 v1.2
Please note that I successfully installed and am currently running dd-wrt on my TP-LINK MR3420 v1.2, However, I take no responsibility if you manage to brick your router.
Background:
The TP-LINK MR3420 v1.0-v1.2 has essentially the same hardware as TP-LINK WR841ND v7.2 which has a dd-wrt available for download

Hi guys,
I'm currently using openwrt firmware for TL-MR3420.
I would like to migrate to change to ddwrt, and finally it seems to be possible.
I also use the router as a NAS, mounting some external disks connected to an USB hub.
I need NTFS filesystem (rw), SMB, NFS, FTP as server protocols.
I've seen the USB is not yet supported but I've not understood if the comment was just for 3G modem or the port is still disabled for any use on DDWRT (last build
from here ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2012/07-20-12-r19519/tplink_tl-mr3420/)
Thank you in advance.

Continue to use OpenWRT, there will not be external storage filesystem support in dd-wrt for any Atheros based router with only 4MB flash.
The MR3420 is a 3G router and does not have the needed hardware to become a poor-mans-NAS. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
