Hardware: Asus WL-520GU
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/12/10) mini-usb-ftp (SVN revision 14929)

Issue: Ext2 partion not mounted to /opt. See last line of screenshot:

The OTRW Wiki (click here) shows the desired outcome:

Questions to diagnose the problem would be appreciated.

UPDATE: enabled FAT support and rebooted router: no joy. Reluctant to enable USB 2.0 support because the OTRW Wiki (click here) says:

Quote:
Asus WL520gU routers must use USB 1.1 drivers only

Others have had problems with their flahs drives (click here).

Not sure if this is problem with my 8 GB Verbatim flash drive (click here).

Thanks! I repartitioned the flashdrive with EXT3. and it works. The goal is to use EXT2, because it is a NAND memory (flash) device.

I need to use a stable version that supports EXT2. Suggestions would be appreciated. Please state if you use this on your suggestion on a Asus WL-520GU or a different model.

Given the firmware features "Mini USB FTP" it may be best to go with 'Big'. BUT this model has 4MB of Flash memory so, this is will not support 'Big'

It would be nice to know \ be able to use a smaller firmware like VPN. I'm really hoping to hear from WL-520GU owners, what they are using: an FTP link to proven OTRW firmware for the WL-520GU would be good for the community. I'll post it to the wiki.
