Reset Button on poe adapter not working (bullet m 2)

I just flashed 07-20-12-r19519 version of the DD-WRT firmware. I had to uninstall my whole wireless setup from the rooftop and use the reset button on the bullet m 2 device itself before I could flash the new firmware. I used the same POE adapter on a rocket m2 and was able to flash it using the reset button on the POE adapter, not the rocket m2 so i can rule out the POE adapter as faulty.

Has anyone experienced this problem? How did you solve it?
