Router dd-wrt compatibility question

Hi all,

I have got a spare ZyXEL P-2601HNF1 modem/router on which I would like to install dd-wrt. I have (some) experience with flashing dd-wrt to more supported devices using information from the forum and wiki.

Here is some information about the ZyXEL P-2601HNF1:

On the "known incompatible devices" page (http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Known_incompatible_devices) i read:

On the wiki I found that somebody has been able to flash the dd-wrt to the ZyXEL P-2601HNF1 (http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/zyxel/zyxel_p2601hnfx), although not very successfully.

I am still interested in flashing the modem/router and I don't care about losing the voip/modem options: I just want to configure the router as a repeater. Do you guys think that would be possible?
