|
Configuration:
TimeWarner cable modem =>
Netgear R6300, ip 192.168.1.1, dhcp set to start at 192.168.1.5, SIP ALG disabled, 2.4GHZ guest network ABC, not in isolation mode, WPA2 AES keyword secured =>
DLink DIR-601 A1, DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/20/12) std, ip 192.168.1.2, gateway 192.168.1.1, Client Bridge (Routed) mode, N-Only (2.4GHz) mode, ssid ABC (WPA2 AES keyword matched), SPI firewall disabled =>
Polycom IP450, DHCP (given 192.168.1.11), configured with external TFTP sip provider
ALSO, DIR-601 =(wired)> laptop OR R6300 =(wifi)> laptop
Here are my issues:
When DIR-601 =(wired)> laptop, I can manage the DIR-601 by accessing 192.168.1.2 in my browser, but I cannot access the R6300 in my browser at 192.168.1.1. When R6300 =(wifi)> laptop, the opposite occurs, and I cannot manage the DIR-601.
When DIR-601 =(wired)> laptop, the IP450 works fine and stays registered all the time. However when R6300 =(wifi)> laptop (only the phone is plugged into the DIR-601), the IP450 will un-register for several minutes at a time intermittantly. My guess: it's as if the DIR-601 running DD-WRT stops sending network traffic after a while if it isn't connected to a computer that's constantly doing something, like it's going to sleep or something.
Any advice? Thanks |
