Hallo zusammen,

ich nutze einen Netgear WNDR3700 v2 mit der FW DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/14/11) std - build 17201.

Per Samba habe ich ein an den USB-Port des Routers angeschlossene Festplatte geshart, habe nun aber das (bekannte) Problem mit den Umlauten (aus diesem Thread http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=404998&sid=36240402976463810baaa8f5046d8fa1)

Nun wollte ich die dort beschriebene Ergänzung der smb.conf vornehmen, und finde die Datei unter /tmp (also im RAM) und unter /usr/lib.

Die erste kann ich zwar ändern, aber nach einem Routerneustart sind alle Änderungen dahin (klar), die zweite (unter /usr/lib) ist readonly. Chmod scheitert mit dem Hinweis auf read-only-Filesystem ...

Ich habe den Router mit Find durchsucht, es gibt aber keine weitere smb.conf.

Nun bin ich nicht der Linux-Spezi und mit meinem Latein am Ende, und wollte daher hier mal fragen, wer mir evtl. weiterhelfen kann.

Das hab ich jetzt streng nach Anleitung mit der 30/30/30-Methode auch getan und die webflash.bin r19519 genommen. Das Ergebnis: bricked ... der Router switched nur noch und die traffic led's sind statisch an. Auf 192.168.1.1 bekomme ich nach reboot des Routers für jeweils 3 Ping's ttl=64, aber offenbar scheint das zu kurz zu sein, um per tftp-PUT eine neue FW draufzuschieben.
