Are you sure it is a rebranded MR3020 and not a rebranded WR703 ?
MR3020 has a 3-way mode switch, WR703 does not.
They are except for the switch identical. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
Error 18005 is not a bootloader error, it is an incompatible firmware error as the error message clearly tells.
You can try flashing this file via the update page in the gui, the file will either work or be rejected with the same error message that you got for the other files you tried. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
Have you tried contacting Fast? I did it in the past via e-mail contact from their website and got helpful reply surprisingly quickly. _________________ D-Link DIR-825 B1 - DD-WRT v3.0-r35681 std (04/06/18) modded with 2 USB ports

A bit disappointed ....
I understand that this can not be configured as a access point because both the WAN port and the Wireless are seen as the same network.
Can you confirm this?

I'll pass on that question waiting for another user and WR703N owner to answer, I don't have the router.
The most common config of an AP though is the ethernet port as a LAN port.
You can if you want revert it to a worldwide version WR703N by using the revert file that you can find somewhere in the sticky revert file thread in top of this forum section. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
I'm still struggling with the LAN/WAN port assignment.Due to the 703n having a single ethernet port for use as LAN / WAN. The WAN port is by default disabled and acts as a LAN port. AP (router) with masquerade/NAT is not working for me.
Tried this as startup script.
nvram set wan_ifname=eth0
brctl delif br0 eth0
startservice wan
any suggestions are welcome.
Then I found that on eBay they are selling TL-WR703N with pre-installed dd-wrt. According to their specs AP/router mode is working. Wondering what version of dd-wrt these boxes are running. http://tinyurl.com/bxwrll3
I am having the same problem on my WR703N and no luck in getting the ethernet port working as WAN either - same as described a lot earlier in this post http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=694349 I tried the Asus wl-330ge solution but it wouldn't work either, any thoughts?
